Wish Basket is a piece that I composed for the JACK Quartet while at NYU. It is the culmination of a year long seminar in string quartet writing with Julia Wolfe and Missy Mazzoli.
Black Jesus Over Wish Basket
A fun throwback to when Joel Daniels rocked his poem Black Jesus over my string quartet Wish Basket at Joe’s Pub for a Polyopolos w/ This Is Not the Radio event in January of 2015.
Wardances
#throwbackTHURSDAY! After eleven years I finally found this project and got it online. Very excited to share my piece Wardances, which was composed for an Art to Art collaborative project in conjunction with Danceworks and Present Music in Milwaukee back in 2005. Diana LeMense was the choreographer, regretfully I know longer know the names of the dancers. . . ENJOY!
Caveman Uncle Pete
Caveman Uncle Pete is a piece I wrote for the NYU Contemporary Music Ensemble during my Master program at NYU. It is scored for pierrot ensemble + vibraphone.
Aujourd’hui
This is my recently composed piece Aujourd’hui for organ. It was written for and premiered by organist Karen Beaumont, with whom I studied piano for many years.
